These Are the Games You Should Check Out in April

March certainly had a great deal of games for us to play. I’m sure some of you have yet to finish titles like Far Cry 5 and Ni no Kuni 2. It was an overall great month for gamers.

Unfortunately, the same isn’t true for April.

If you’re looking for huge blockbusters, you’re going to feel disappointed. While the number of notable titles isn’t impressive, things aren’t all bad. Since most of the big games land near the end of the month, we have more time to finish our backlogs. You definitely don’t want to have anything left on your plate when April starts churning out the goods.

God of War

Platform: PlayStation 4
Release date: April 20

I think it’s safe to say God of War is April’s biggest game release. The latest entry serves as a soft reboot of the storied franchise. Instead of facing the Greek pantheon, Kratos will battle the Norse gods. The game promises to have a deeper, more emotional story than previous entries. Kratos’ son, Atreus, will no doubt keep the plot and gameplay interesting.

Expect God of War to sell even more PlayStation 4 systems when it releases.
