CHINESE FALLING SPACE STATION PREDICTED TO CRASH ON APRIL FOOLS DAY

New predictions from the Aerospace Corporation says that the Chinese space station Tiangong-1 is hurtling towards Earth and will make a fiery re-entry on April Fools Day.

Initially launched back in 2011, the Tiangong-1 or "Heavenly Place 1" Space station was the prototype for the Chinese space program to establish a permanent station in 2023. Its primary mission was to perform docking and orbital experiments, and two successful missions were carried out by the first Chinese female astronauts, Liu Yang and Wang Yaping. 

However, for unreported reasons, on March 16, 2016, China reported to the United Nations that the station "ceased functioning". 

Currently, it is now in a decaying orbit as the altitude slowly decreases while the falling speed towards Earth increases. It is predicated to reenter the Earths atmosphere around April 1st, 2018 at 8:30 UTC.
